1. Where are you located?
Please see our contact page for a map and all of our contact information.
2. What are your hours?
Our gate hours are 8:00 AM to Dusk, and anytime by appointment! Our office hours are 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
3. Hard top vs rock gravel parking?
It's a myth that hard top (concrete or asphalt) parking is better. Hard top is much cheaper to maintain, and that's the only reason others use it. Hard top is not about protecting your RV because, hard top gets very hot, and unless regularly swept - and we are talking a commercial street sweeper - hard top parking gets dirty too. Your RV fries, and dirt gets constantly stirred up when someone drives on it. Gravel parking keeps your RV cooler and cleaner. You can walk barefoot on a gravel lot anytime of the year. Don't try that on an asphalt lot! People naturally drive slower on gravel, causing any surface dirt to settle to the bottom. And when it rains, gravel parking gets a thorough, deep, cleaning, while hard top gets mud puddles. As RV owners ourselves, we have parked on both. We chose gravel because it's simply better for your RV, and in spite of the fact that it costs us a lot of money each year in maintenance.
4. Covered parking vs RV covers?
Paying for covered parking is very expensive. Covered parking will often add over $1,000 a year to the cost of your annual storage bill! To protect your RV, exposure to rain is not the problem. It's sun damage, and any good RV cover, even the least expensive, protects your RV from UV damage. Covers also keep your RV cooler on the inside. Of course, you can always spend extra to purchase a water resistant cover. In fact, the only advantage to covered RV parking is ease of use. Covering your RV does take a little extra time. In final comparison, covered parking will cost you over $1000 a year, while a good RV cover usually costs under $400. In other words, an RV cover pays for itself in only a few months, and most covers on the market will last several seasons before they need to be replaced, thus saving you thousands more. We also sell RV covers to our customers, at cost.
